Certification: Level 2 Award and Level 3 Certificate in Coaching Strength Training

The knowledge you will gain from the BWL Strength Coach courses will enable you to train individuals or groups to improve their strength regardless of their experience in the gym.

LEVEL 2: Coaching Strength Training
An introduction to the fundamentals of coaching strength training to groups and individuals
How to work with a range of different clients with sports specific goals or strength targets
Safe coaching practices
How to design and plan training sessions
How to effectively work with other coaches, to deliver aspects of coaching sessions
A detailed profile of 11 key strength training exercises
Knowledge of programming, anatomy, and nutrition

How to work effectively with clients who have personal goals as well as athletes with performance goals across all sports
18 exercises and a wide range of programming, profiling and monitoring skills

The principles of Strength Training Theory and how to use them effectively in your coaching

How long does it take to complete the course?
LEVEL 2 course is 12 - 16 hours (plus 1 day practical)
LEVEL 3 course is 16 - 24 hours (plus 1 day practical)
Competing this online only course provides you with the flexibility to choose your own hours
Prerequisites
Be at least 17 years of age at the start of the course
Have a minimum of one years experience in participation in weightlifting and/or strength-based activities
Be able to communicate effectively in English
